Accountant Manager

IMD is seeking an Accountant Manager to join our team! As the Accountant Manager you will be responsible for supervising Cash Posting & Client Accounts Payable processing employees. The position also includes general accounting responsibilities of reconciling client patient accounting systems to client bank accounts to ensure accuracy of cash posting activities. What your impact will be: Performs day-to-day general ledger accounting, financial reporting and analysis for IMD and designated clients. Prepares and posts journal entries for assigned clients. Performs account reconciliations, account analysis, accrual calculations and related accounting documents/schedules. Analyzes financial information and prepares financial reports and monthly financial statements for IMD and designated clients. Oversight and supervision of Accounts Payable and Cash Posting staff. Prepares and completes month-end, quarter-end and year-end close for assigned clients. Maintains and protects confidentiality in all aspects of patient health information, proprietary information, and employee information. Manages customer/client interactions in a professional manner; responds promptly to requests for service and assistance, and meets those commitments. Demonstrates the spirit of the philosophy, mission, and values of IMD through words and actions, and implements them into department processes, programs, and the working environment. Performs other duties as assigned. What we are looking for: Work Experience: Two (2) years accounting experience in a healthcare setting Associates or Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field Healthcare experience is desired as current client seeking to outsource their accounting and financial reporting services to IMD. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with clients, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company. Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands, and to seek supervisory assistance as appropriate. What will make you stand out: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Internet, accounting and patient accounting software applications. Ability to work effectively and relate well to clients, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company. Must be able to adapt to change in order to meet the unique needs of IMD, its clients, and affiliates.
