Description of Duties/Essential Functions Under administrative direction, serves as staff assistant to the Deputy Director of Permanency; provides input into the planning, development, and implementation of policies and programs, often involving sensitive and controversial issues; serves as liaison between the Deputy Director and professional and support staff, and performs liaison work between agencies and representatives of private organizations; conducts special projects related to division programs which require interaction with executive and administrative staff; manages the distribution of the Deputy Director’s incoming mail; researches, gathers detailed information, analyzes information, and prepares responses to communications on behalf of the Deputy Director. Minimum Requirements Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college, preferably with courses in public or business administration; requires two years of professional experience in a public or private organization.
