Desired Qualification Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT, or MVMA/MAVT) Experience: Minimum of 5 or more years Duties and responsibilities With each hospital function, assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow Assist with surgeries and procedures Able to manage inventory Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on wellness plans, medications, and additional treatments Assist in maintaining relevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members To be considered for this position or other veterinary services related opportunities, please send your resume to wanda.lewis@gogpac.com, or call me, Wanda at (605) 937-5532 to confidentially discuss details.
