Cook and Housekeeper Job Description The Cook and Housekeeper will locate primarily in East Hampton (separate apartment) and occasionally in NYC. Really nice family with two older children. If possible, travel occasionally to Palm Beach in winter. Cooking will be the mostly healthy and responsive to dietary needs for a healthy lifestyle. Cooking, shopping and sourcing of best fresh foods. Graceful serving. Clean ups. Keeping kitchen ordered and well stocked. Housekeeping responsibilities include all regular, daily and deep cleaning activities for this elegant Hamptons home- newly renovated. Beautiful packing for trips and travel. The Cook/HK assists with all needs in both a pro-active and responsive manner. You will function as part of a 3-person team providing assistance in the areas of lifestyle, travel preparations, residence optimization, and improving ambiance of the home(s) General Responsibilities: Take care with Covid precautions and safety. Responsibilities include full-charge housekeeping, daily upkeep and maintenance of the home, table setting, running errands, laundry and ironing. Cooking responsibilities include preparing healthy fresh meals for the principals and for up to six people if kids or guests are present. Candidate must be flexible to travel occasionally to the family’s Palm Beach and NYC residences when needed. Ideal candidate is discreet, has a neat appearance, is hard-working, and professional. Must hold a valid driver’s license. Accommodations include a nice separate apartment with a private bathroom and kitchen. 5-day work week. Salary DOE, health insurance, paid time off.
