Do you crave a job where you can make a difference and serve the public? Central District Health is recruiting for a COVID Data Entry Specialist to join our team. This is your chance to give back to your community in a meaningful way by helping us track and manage COVID activity in our district. The COVID Data Entry Specialist will conduct data entry and records management to support COVID response activities. These include data entry into web-based reporting systems for all confirmed and probable cases, data entry for internal use, filing and records management. Data Entry Specialists are required to follow all policies and procedures provided by CDH, and comply with CDH training regarding confidential information related to personal information. You are an ideal candidate if you have excellent organizational and communication skills, a high level of attention to detail and an ability to exhibit a professional, positive attitude and work ethic. This position is limited service, meaning the position is contingent upon funding and contract. Working weekends and evenings may be required. Paid time off includes vacation and sick leave that begin accruing immediately upon hire and Holiday pay. Example of Duties Perform data entry into web-based state reporting database for all confirmed and probable COVID cases; Perform data entry to support other response activities to include, but not limited to, data entry to support outbreak line lists and monitoring logs; Maintain paper records of COVID-19 related paperwork per CDHD records retention policy. Minimum Qualifications Experience: monitoring a records system to identify and correct errors; researching a variety of sources to resolve problems; interpreting, explaining and applying regulations, laws, or complex policies to carry out assignments; entering and retrieving data using a computerized records system. MQ Specialties Experience storing, retrieving, and compiling information in a report format using data base software.
