Director of Operations

Job Description I am working with a food manufacturing company in the area that is looking to hire on a Senior Level Director of Operations. The correct candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling the day-to-day operational activities of the company under the direction of the President/CEO. Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise and work with management to ensure all operations are effectively integrated. Ability to build and maintain working relationships with C-Level individuals at client companies. Development, prioritization and implementation of strategies to accommodate current and future organizational plans. Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and processes. Works closely with the company’s COO to ensure the integrity and availability of information at all levels. Keep abreast with current industry trends. Identify, track and mitigate operational risks. Review and guide key vendor relationships for strategic success and profitability. Must Haves: Previous experience in an operational leadership role with project management. Proven ability to plan and accomplish goals, while leading multiple departments. Extensive knowledge of the various operational areas of the company. Ability to adopt and lead change initiatives. Ability to work with the President/CEO, Board of Directors, shareholders and other management. Qualifications: Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in food manufacturing Qualified individual will have a minimum of a Master’s in Business Administration.
