District Manager/Area Coach

Wasatch Valley Pizza (WVP) a Pizza Hut Franchisee Area Coach (Multi-Unit Manager) Wasatch Valley Pizza (WVP) is a 40+ location franchisee of Pizza Hut. Our restaurants are located throughout Salt Lake City and the Wasatch Valley Region. We are seeking proven multi-unit managers to join our Operations team. The Area Coach (AC) has the overall responsibility for overseeing the people, processes and operations of 8-10 restaurants in a particular geographic area. The Area Coach drives excellence in day-to-day operations of all restaurants and people within the assigned trade area; trains, coaches, supports managers; plans and sets goals; focuses on in-store problem solving/process improvement; sets standards; recognizes and motivates Restaurant General Managers, Assistant Managers and Restaurant Teams. Position Overview As a key member of our Operations team, the overall responsibility is to ensure systems and processes are being followed which maximize profitability and efficiency at all locations within a particular geography. The Area coach drives excellence in day-to-day operations of all restaurants in the market; trains, coaches, supports managers; plans and sets goals; focuses on in-store problem solving/process improvement; sets standards; recognizes and motivates Restaurant Managers, Assistant Managers and Restaurant Teams. Other responsibilities will be as follows: · Ensures store budgets and other prescribed metrics are met and takes action to remedy unfavorable events and trends as they occur · Responsible for ensuring all restaurants are exceeding company standards on customer service, food quality and overall operations · Meets regularly with managers to review performance, share best practices and disseminate information on any areas where we have an opportunity for improvement · Create and improve upon existing systems and processes which will add value to the organization · Participates in all initiatives such as new product launches, sales initiatives and new customer service guidelines · Ensure the company is in compliance with all federal, state and local laws and corporate requirements (i.e. health codes, Serve Safe and employment law) · Responsible for the professional development of Restaurant General Managers. · Responsible for monitoring management performance, conducting periodic performance reviews, discipline and terminations · Provides interview and staffing support to Area team · Participates in the development of local marketing promotions or public relations in support of all locations · Follows up on marketing programs and local marketing to initiatives to ensure proper execution Education and Experience Proven track record as successful Multi-Unit Operations professional Exceptional team building capability 3-5 years of successful, high sales volume, operational management experience in the Quick Service Restaurant industry.
