The Role Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance of the financial records and invoicing in compliance with policies and procedures to ensure quality services are provided. As a guideline you will: Compile and analyse financial information and prepare financial reports including monthly accounts Prepare and process fortnightly payroll including good understanding of staff entitlements Liaise with Human Resources regarding any staff related observations and queries Maintain and update asset register including depreciation calculations Monitor the budget continuously and manage its development according to emerging need Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses including monitoring bank accounts continuously to ensure appropriate cashflow and availability of funds Seek opportunities to undertake personal and professional education programs in consultation with the Operations Manager Comply with the requirements of the current Work Health and Safety regulations and processes Report workplace hazards and risks following correct procedures Undertake WHS training as required You Are You lead by example and support staff in promoting thought leadership with the ability to build and support effective working relationships. You also have: Current First Aid Certificate Tertiary qualifications in Accounting Minimum five years’ experience in Accounting and/or Finance Demonstrated experience working in a highly regulated environment Knowledge of NSW taxation principles, laws and regulations Demonstrated experience delivering clear, timely and concise communication Developed communication skills and experience with working with staff and customers from a culturally and linguistically diverse background You have experience with multiple tech platforms and are confident using technology Benefits In addition to the huge personal and professional growth from this opportunity, you will be a key contributor embedded in an excellent company culture that values loyalty and integrity.
