Most are post delivery, antepartum, or post-surgical/gynecological patients. Some have medical problems or trauma complicated by pregnancy and/or complications of pregnancy. Perform nursing assessments of patients by observation and interaction with patient/significant others for educational, physiological, psychosocial, comfort, and safety needs; Plan and coordinate care, and follow-up with other associates, departments, physicians and management as necessary *Evaluate and document each patients response to interventions. Qualifications *Requires completion from accredited school of nursing. *Must maintain current State of Idaho Registered Nurse license or Compact license.. *Maintain current AHA or ARC CPR for Healthcare Providers card. A nurse in Women’s Center either within the first year of hire and every two years thereafter must maintain the following competencies: STABLE Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (recertify every two years). Complete skills checklists. Complete and maintain hospital/unit specific mandatory requirements in a timely manner.
